Problems with more than one game(on my pc)

So first i bought the free target thing, and then I bought the brick braeker one. My PC may just suck OR there is serious lag problems. Because when I bought it, the game lagged completely, the menu, target shooter and brick breaker.

I didn't notice this at all. I'm running a 2-year old Vista Home Premium 1 gb RAM with optimization.

Well, your computer is probably just fast. I'm using Windows XP Home on a netbook so it has to be slow.

Faster computers would probably have it faster, but regular pc's should still be able to run it at normal speed.

I'm using a netbook which is not a regular PC so it's slow...

netbooks aren't PCs. PC is a desktop computer running windows. Heck, I don't even consider netbooks to be laptops.

PSC, can you make a forum for people involved in development so we can release source code and help each other?

If we release the source people can steal the game. It should be done through PM.

It could be a password protected forum

I created a group and only allow this group to view the forum.

I have fixed the problem with lagging. it will be in the next version.

What was the problem? It seemed like either you created a bunch of unnecessary ds_* instances, and didn't remove them, constantly opened a file, but never closed them, or had a ton of persistent objects.

I stored the sounds in a seperate file and then added them when they were needed in the game.

Meh... Loading in-game does (temporarily) lag the game, so I always load resources like that in the beginning.

also, maybe we should load some of the sprites too.. I think the source should be given to someone for some editing for lagging... then given back

dropbox is program that allows users to share files in fealtime with each other. We post the project and work on it together.

Everyone involved in development installs dropbox, then makes an account, and PSC then invites us all the the Cii dropbox.

Im running it on my moms PC, so its HORRIBLE to play.

But I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have those problems on my netbook.

Windows Vista Home Premium, 2GB RAM, 1,8+ GHz (I don't remember very well >.<)

Also, how could I help you out with Cii?
