Cii Avatars

I need designs for the Cii Avatars. What should they look like and what would they do? If you have suggestions post them!

Note:The poll for names will run for 2 weeks (14 days)

Even owning only a Wii, I like the X360 style more...
Too bad Nintendo doesn't let you choose your suits >.<

I have an Idea:

Chosse a Style:

Normal Person -> Just a normal person, choose his suits, face, etc...

Monster and/or Robot, etc... -> Design freely, choose pre-made parts or draw them on Cii Paint!

Stickman (Yes, I love Stickmen *-*) -> (Support to Stick Warrior, Stickman Chase-off, etc...) Chose his face, stick color, and equip him with things like weapons, etc... by drawing, buying at cii shop channel or from your best Stick Games!

And you can keep buying new things that are made periodically.

Yeah, thats a great idea Nick! We should make it Drawn to Life style, so you can draw it, then we animate it!

Good idea. We can can have games that feature the avatars. What should we call the avatars?

Well, the Wii called them Mii's for like the word me. Since the Cii is for like you See me then we should call them Hii's for the boys and Shii's. What do you think?

The sprite sheet looks great. I'm not sure about the name though.

Yeah, Hii and Shii will probably be the best we will get.

Nah, I vote for Hiis/Shiis. I would like to try making the drawn-2-life style animation. Watch this space.

Ta-daa! A brand-new drawn 2 life-style animation, for a 48x80 image.

You can change the sprite for the character as you like, and even replace it by a surface. A word of warning for surfaces though: "white" and "transparent" are very different things, and you may need to upgrade your paint program if the eraser is to work properly. In general, read the bit of the help file that deals with textures before editing. I include a framework that you can put on the screen for the player to use, so he knows where head, arms, legs, and torso should go.

I made it so the right arm doesn't move, so that he can carry an item in it (the sword). It's easy enough to change this.

Press 0, 1 and 2 to cycle through the different actions the character can do (standing, running and jumping). Feel free to add more.

Finally, the character runs at a speed of about 2.4 (=48/20) pixels per step. To change this to a more convenient value, just change the speed at which the variable "phase" cycles, in the step event.

Well, that would conflict with my Hii/Shii behaviour system, in that you choose sme actions for him and cccan buy some more, and he ges in a random cycle between them.

The Hiis Shiis idea is great, but we shouldnt use stickmen. We need better sprites. I just got gimp, so if i make better sprites, will you use them?

that's a bit big, and gimp isn't a spriting program.

I think I see your point: that you would need to buy too many new actions and it would be difficult to make them all with textures.
